A Peaceful Exit, and a Bold Return to Lincoln Place

...sounds like a title from an old romantic novel, and maybe there is some hint of romance to it. After moving from one home to another...and another, growing and discovering what we want and how we'd like to be; Stitch Therapy, A Fine Yarn Shop is returning and settling down in a new store front on Lincoln Place; Just two doors up from our old place!

The more things change the more they...stay the same! Expect more of the same amazing Stitch Therapy, but with more space and even more comfort.

This shop will be a re-emergence of the tactile experience and creative oasis we've always dreamed of providing for our customers and friends. We encourage you to join us at Stitch Therapy, start a project and continue working on it with guidance, input and conversation from our community.

But before the grand opening of our new store in April, we need to move and clear our current stock to make room for new seasonal and natural fibers, which means Clearance Sale! The sale starts this Saturday, 2/23, and goes until we (temporarily) close, with 15% off all yarns!

If this sounds as exciting to you as it does me, come celebrate on March 3rd at 6pm in  Noella Brew Bar where we will be saying goodbye on the eve of moving on to new and inspiring endeavors!

Here are a Few Important Notes to Keep in mind:

* Please feel free to drop by the hours of 12-7pm, Tuesday through Sunday to help get rid of stock and find out more about our new shop, and what projects and activities you can participate in through Stitch Therapy's website.

* There will be no store front during the month of March, but Private lessons will be made available during our temporary close. Take the leap and schedule a lesson for Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday 12-4pm

Looking forward to seeing you all soon in our new space and creative sanctuary! Save the date: re-opening Sunday, April 1st.

JOSEPHINE'S SQUARES adding a border

Josephine will add a fifth color to create a Garter Stitch border on each individual square by picking up three stitches to four rows around.  Pick up your stitches then begin with a round of purls, alternating with a round of knit, place ring markers at each corner then increase one stitch outside each marker on the knit round -- work six rounds of Garter Stitch pattern then bind-off purlwise.  Sew squares together to form Mystery Blanket and work an additional border using the same pick-up formula and miter the four edges of your Mystery Blanket.
